The Happily ever after
One of the new and very exciting "add on" opportunities that I now include is to have a honeymoon session.
The honeymoon session is similar to an engagement session but has a little bit more free flow to it. A few days into my clients' honeymoon, I meet them in a location and we adventure together. I will have locations scouted in advance and we will travel from place to place, posing as we get to picturesque locations, documenting the moments that happen on vacation while doing a combination of posed and candid shots. Because of it being a unique session, I stay as long as my clients want me to, with no strict hour requirement.
I started offering these sessions after my own personal travel struggles. Travel, especially honeymoon travel, is a once in a lifetime trip, and so often I came back with disappointing photos that don't truly capture the trip. Here are a few examples:
On my trip to Paris, I asked a stranger to take a cell phone pic. This was the result...
And here my lovely friend Kristen Middlestedt (who is a pro photographer) snapped a pic of me in Paris. So. Much. Better.
When it is just the two of you, the best you can hope for is a selfie.
