Diana + Lucas: A Downtown Indianapolis Wedding

I've shot a lot of weddings, but at Lucas and Diana's wedding I really felt like I was witnessing two best friends getting married. It was romantic and beautiful, but it was clear to me that not only were Diana and Lucas in love, but they were really each other's very best friends. They were joyful and jubilant all day, just excited to be together. The wedding details, while pretty, seemed to matter less to them than the fact that they were getting married at the end of the day, and they were doing it with a bunch of people they loved. The wedding took place at The Crane Bay, which was dressed to the nines using all of their beautiful spaces to have the reception, cocktail hour and reception. We traveled around downtown taking pictures, around the circle, the canal, and by Lucas Oil stadium, per Lucas's request. They then had a beautiful ceremony that was sweet and simple. The party afterwards was AMAZING, I don't think I have every seen such skilled dancing at a wedding reception! In short, it was amazing, and I was super glad to be a part of Diana and Lucas's wedding day!!
