This is a love story for the ages. Jacob and Laura first met way back when they were 13 years old in middle school music class. Jacob had a crush on Laura first, but she didn't have feelings back. Fast forward to freshman year French class when Jacob and Laura were seated next to each other and then (of course) the roles were reversed and this time Laura had a crush on him, but he was too busy with hockey to notice. Finally, during our senior year of high school, the feelings became mutual and these two got together!! Now after almost a decade together, through college at Purdue, building a house together, adopting a puppy, and many other life events, they FINALLY got married!

Their wedding day was truly perfect! Laura envisioned a soft and timeless wedding day with lots of greenery, soft pink and whites to pull together a lovely and romantic aesthetic. Their wedding took place at the Bridgewater Club in Carmel, Indiana. Along with a soft white architecture, we had access to all the golf carts we needed to take a stroll around the greens. The sun was softly shaded, making it the perfect temperature and lighting for an outdoor garden wedding. The day was fun and full of love. (and full of Taylor Swift references, since these two are obsessed!!)

When asked about what she was most excited for about her wedding day, Laura said: “While I am so excited to have the wedding of my dreams, I truly am most excited for the marriage that follows it. I cannot wait to FINALLY be married to Jacob! We have been talking about this day for over 7 years and it is so exciting to think that it is almost here! In regards to the actual wedding day, I am most looking forward to that moment when I first get to see Jacob. Jacob is truly the most loyal person I know. Over the last eight years, he has shown me time and time again that he is there for me and will support me during good times and bad.”

These two finally got the happy ending to their love story, and I was so blessed to be able to be a small part of it by taking their photos! Congrats you two!
