An Elegant Laurel Hall Love Story: Grayson and Zach

There are some wedding days that feel effortlessly elegant from beginning to end, and Grayson and Zach's wedding at Laurel Hall was exactly that. Inspired by soft Parisian blues and classic European design, every detail was thoughtfully curated—from the delicate blue invitation suite, vow books, and florals to the champagne bridesmaid dresses that perfectly complemented Laurel Hall's timeless architecture. One of my favorite moments from the day was photographing Grayson in the beautiful diffused window light, where she looked like she had stepped straight out of the pages of Vogue. Zach's emotional reaction during their first look and the private vows they shared, including him telling Grayson he knew she was "the one" from the moment they met, made for some of the most meaningful moments of the day. Although spring rain moved their terrace reception indoors to Laurel Hall's solarium, the candlelit atmosphere made the evening feel even more intimate and romantic. We created one of my favorite editorial bridal party portraits in the drawing room before ending the night with a packed dance floor, an unforgettable bridesmaids dance party, and Grayson changing into the cutest floral reception dress for the celebration. Days like this are why I love being an Indianapolis wedding photographer.
